South Africa Trip 2012

I have just returned from a fantastic 4 weeks break in South Africa with some Australian friends. It was their first visit to Africa so being a “tour guide” took me to some special places that are often overlooked on a normal holiday. I managed to get some really awesome shots and I have posted a few for your enjoyment.

A special thank you to Mike and Coral Le Sueur and their son Robert who made us feel so welcome at Nambiti Falls Private Game Reserve. We also visited the Le Sueur Cheetah Project where we were treated to a very informative introduction into the plight of the cheetah by Des Gouws who is very passionate about wildlife and its future. If you are in the area please pay them a visit and donate some money to this cause or visit the Le Sueur Cheetah Project website.

A beautiful sight to see and experience. Its true what people say – “Africa gets under your skin, its a magical place that without experiencing first hand you can’t begin to imagine its beauty”.
